A first aid kit.
For each participating pupil, please bring:
a healthy snack (to be eaten on arrival at the college)
a bottle of water
outdoor clothing (for the farm tour) excluding wellies, which will be provided by the college
comfortable, closed-toe shoes (for the kitchen) e.g., no sandals
a change of socks.
For accompanying adults:
We recommend all adults come prepared to support both activities (i.e., the outdoor farm tours and the cooking sessions inside the kitchen). Therefore, please bring the same items as listed above for pupils. (Wellies are also provided for adults.)
-
Please arrange for four adults to join the visit on the day, including at least two qualified first aiders. This requirement ensures all pupils have immediate access to a first aider, even while working in two separate groups.
-

Please look out for a separate email requesting allergy information for your visit, plus permission to take photographs on the day. We will request this information six weeks prior to your visit, or sooner (depending on your date).
If you’ve already provided similar information for Adopt a School classroom sessions this year, please note that there is additional information we need for Chef on the Farm. We appreciate your assistance in submitting these details again when the time comes.
(As per our classroom sessions, you will be given the option to opt out of photos for some, or all, of your pupils.)
