Members of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts are united in the common purpose of supporting the future of the hospitality industry through education and training.
By joining the Academy members pledge their support for the academy’s objectives and agree to invest their time and expertise in its activities. Membership of the academy is open to individuals or companies as follows:

Alumni
Our alumni membership is home to our Apprenticeship Graduates and Annual Awards of Excellence Achievers. The start of a journey, and a way to connect with the RACA Academicians at a younger age.

Academicians & Fellows
Our Academicians and Fellows are amongst the finest and most well-respected head chefs, pastry chefs and restaurant managers in the hospitality industry. To qualify these members are nominated by their peers and should be over the age of 30, and working in the UK.

Associate
Our Associate members are amongst the finest suppliers of quality foods, wines, services and equipment to the hospitality industry. They work alongside our Academician members to support the industry and raise the standards of education.

Friends
Friends membership is open to anyone who supports the philosophy of the academy and its activities. This is not restricted to the hospitality Industry but allows supporters of education in this sector to network with Academicians and Associate members.
