Annual Awards of Excellence 2025 RULES

*Entrants must be no older than 26 years in 2024.

*Therefore, entrants must be no older than 26 means born on or after 1st January 1999.

* Candidates must be in full-time employment in the UK and working as a chef, pastry chef, or waiter and with at least two years experience.

* Candidates must have a working knowledge of written and spoken English.

* Previous AAE achievers are not eligible to enter unless they are competing in a different discipline from the one you gained your title.

* Only entries made through the official entry process will be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in any way. Copies of their entries must be kept by entrants for future reference as correspondence and any other documents cannot be returned.

* All prizes are non-transferable.

* Any trips that might be included as part of the bursary awarded to the overall winners include travel from the UK only and in signing this entry form the candidate agrees to make him/ herself available for said trips on the dates organised by the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.

* In all matters the judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

* The organisers must be informed if any candidate changes or intends to change their employment during the competition process. The organisers reserve the right to reconsider a candidate’s eligibility to compete and for any award or prize.

* By making an application, entrants are agreeing to the organisers holding personal data about them for the purposes of the award. All candidates also agree to have their names and details printed in press releases and print, including photographs taken at the events.
